Areas of Practice
Ina represents individuals, corporations and non-profit entities in litigation. She advises clients in a broad range of commercial and employment matters, insurance coverage matters and in divorce and custody disputes. Ina has acted as lead counsel for a New York hospital in a commercial jury trial, and has co-chaired trial teams in jury trials in New York state and federal courts.

The jury trials that she has handled include:

  • representation of an insurer in a premises liability case arising from an assault of a tenant by the insured's day laborer;
  • representation of an attorney against claims for business defamation and tortious interference with prospective economic advantage; and
  • representation of an employee in a discrimination suit brought against employer under Family and Medical Leave Act.

The bench trials that Ina has handled include:

  • representation of an executor of a decedent's estate against his co-executors' claims of conversion, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty; and
  • representation of a husband in divorce and custody trials.

Ina has represented clients in mediation, including a non-profit scientific research institution in connection with the enforcement of a charitable pledge, and an executive search firm in a dispute for unpaid fees. Ina has also represented clients in arbitration, including representation of a musical theater production company in a dispute against the venue owner for amounts unpaid under contracts.

Ina is extensively involved in representing insurance company clients in coverage matters.
