Johnson v. Wright, 412 F.3d 398 (2d Cir. 2005). Catherine
successfully briefed and argued an appeal of the lower court's
decision granting summary judgment to the defendants in a
case where Catherine's client alleged a violation of the Eighth
Amendment. Catherine began work on the case as an associate
at Paul, Weiss, where she conducted discovery and took the
deposition of the defendants' expert witness.

Catherine successfully briefed and argued an appeal of a murder
conviction on behalf of the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office.
The appeal involved issues relating to failure to preserve
objections, marshaling the evidence during the jury charge
and jury instructions on flight and witness credibility.

Supp. 2d 1007 (E.D. Mich. 2003). Catherine assisted a Paul,
Weiss partner in successfully dismissing their financial institution
clients from a securities case alleging that they violated
Section 12(a)(2) of the Securities Act.

v. Patellis, 305 A.D.2d 429, 758 N.Y.S.2d 517 (2d Dep't
2003). Catherine successfully briefed and argued an appeal
of a robbery conviction on behalf of the Brooklyn District
Attorney's Office. The appeal involved issues relating to
the defendant's pre-arrest silence.
